Wouldn’t it be nice if business had trail markers?

I was hiking on Sunday and noticed how reassuring those little blazes are…. confirmation that says, “you’re still on the red path.”

You are not lost.

Entrepreneurship doesn’t come with that kind of certainty. Just intuition and grueling trial and error. Blind hope that the direction you’re walking is still “right.”

I don’t have the answer, but if you do, I’d love to hear it. The best I’ve found is this:

Remember your why.
Know your one thing. The single blocker right in front of you.
Don’t look ten steps ahead at problems that don’t exist yet.

No one’s out here painting trees for us. We just have to trust ourselves and keep walking.
